White Pass Horse Camp

great time, well marked trails of all different lengths, glorious mountain lakes, high line , generous sized camp sites. short walk to horse water. Great memories... chatting with through hikers on the PCT a bonus.

Right by the highway so you will hear traffic all night/day. It is a bit of a walk to the lake for water. Great trail access to the PCT and many other trails. No highlines as there are hitching posts. Easy turn around spaces for the trailers.

Beautiful horse camp and there are other camping spots close to the lake. There are vaulted toilets at the horse camp. I visited here on 9/24/18 and saw no one camping in the horse camp. There were people camped at the lake camp spots.

This is a very old camp, with limited spots but it does have a vault toilet and access to some great trails. Since you're just off hwy 12 you even get cellphone reception.
