White Deer Motel

I enjoyed my stay at White Deer. It was relaxing and very comfortable. The mattress was wonderful. The only thing that bothered me was that it smelled like someone had spilled a bottle of pine sol in the room. It was a very strong offensive odor. Thankfully I eventually found out that it was the scent from the plug-ins. I pulled them out, problem solved. But it was so strong that my pajamas had the scent on them the next day at home. Toxic artificial fragrances can really ruin an experience for many people. Otherwise great stay. I hope to come back. It was an enjoyable experience.

This motel had 4 star review. Website looked nice. I’m the photos the rooms looked outdated, but clean and tidy. I’ve driven by in the past and it looked nice. That was not the case. It was musty smelling and not clean! Not just outdated as the photo showed, But In disrepair. The bathroom had cobwebs in the corner and mold in the shower. The outlet that the mini fridge was plugged into was hanging out of the wall. The old school square 2x2 mini fridge was sitting on the floor. The pillowcases were stained. The carpet was gross. I was afraid to put my clothes or bags on the floor. We didn’t stay the night. No one was on site to see about this. It was 11pm at this point so we just left.

Nice clean place with a friendly staff. The room I was in was very thought out. It's right on the tohighway, but not noise. Right between some towns so easy to get around. I found places in the area easily.

I used the notary and the lady was amazing very helpful and even remi ded me that my license had expired since the day before was my birthday .... oops 😬. Very friendly and clean .

White Deer Hotel has a lot of plusses. The management works hard and is respectful of its visitors. The maid is very clean and professional. The hotel is affordable and a good place to transition when you are travelling or looking for an apartment. My biggest issue with the hotel is the landfill smell -- it can wreak up the room and the entire area around it and the hotel water pressure isn't great and there is a bad smell coming from the water faucet - my guess, its well water. I stay because its cheap and management is nice but Its not a great long term place to be.
