Whistlin' Pine Ranch

Tara is a wonderful host. The camp sites are more isolated then usual camp grounds which we like. Running water was available to wash dishes and such. We were able to get out and paddle on the lake ever day. Tons of fish, birds turtles and wildlife. The horse back ride was awesome and want to go back for the longer ride. We did go down the road to shower at the state park and noticed how clean it was but also how close the camp sites were to each other there. We enjoyed going back to our isolated tent at Whistlin Pine Ranch. Thanks again Tara.

We had a great time on our trail ride last weekend. What a beautiful setting to relax with just the sounds of horses and nature. Totally recommend 10/10!

My family came to Lake Chelan area for spring break and were looking for horseback riding options in the area. Most suggestions were for Leavenworth or Stehekin (too far away), but luckily we found this place. It’s a 4th generation ranch, that is gorgeous! My kids and I range from little horse exposure to experienced rider and we all thoroughly enjoyed it! The horses are healthy, happy and well cared for. The owner-is great and we learned she is a National Champion Mounted Shooter. Both kids asked if we could do it again next time we are in the area! Thanks for a great time, would definitely recommend riding here, the untouched beauty is amazing!

It is a very beautiful and serene place. We enjoyed every minute of it.

We were able to reserve some space for our RV on short notice. The resort is tucked back into the lake and has lots of privacy and great little beach for lake fun.. The property has a great outfitters history and wonderful character. The owner was a wonderful host who made sure our stay was very pleasant. If you want the rustic feel, It’s great. I would stay again for sure.
