Whispering Oaks Campground

My son has a friend who lives in Robinson, IL so we were looking for a campground near by, found Whispering Oaks & so glad we did! Very clean, huge playground for kids, a small basketball court w/ aired up basketballs (spot 45 was the perfect spot for my toddler and my teenage boys). A huge rec hall, that had tables and board games. Free firewood - which was a blessing because we forgot to stop for some, and last but not least rates were a great price! 5 stars and grabbed a bunch of brochures to hand out. 🙌🏻

Delightful little campground! Very clean, super quiet, lovely surroundings, and a great price. All sites are full hookup, most are level, public bathrooms are clean and well maintained. There is a playground, a little rock garden with a swing and tables overlooking the lake. The hosts are very communicative and helpful. I highly recommend!

we are just passing through but stayed here for 2 nights and wow what a nice surprise! we got lucky to be here for thier once a year resident party which we were invited to- great food, wings off the smoker and live band! The people here are just really nice people, everyone talked to us and even without the party i would recommend this camp on your travels or even if you think you want to stay- from what i hear you can buy a space?

This is one of the BEST campgrounds we've ever stayed at! Surrounded by nature, clean, quiet, well maintained, super friendly owners!! Full hook-up, excellent price... We highly recommend!

Amazing weekend family camping trip! The owners were so friendly and accommodating! The facilities were clean, well kept and private. My toddler LOVED the big playground with quality equipment. Would highly recommend!
