Simply Home Inn & Suites

We have been staying at this location 10+ nights a year for 25 years. We have noticed the upgrades since it changed hands recently. Room was clean and fresh paint. We are very satisfied. We get up at 3 30 am for hunting. Was hoping for coffee in the kitchen area, but it was empty. Carpet in hallways could use a good cleaning, but not really a deal breaker. We understand it gets a lot of traffic. The wife and kids keep asking me to switch to the hotel in Robinson with a pool, but I stick it out here. A pool and hot tub area would be a great attraction/ upgrade for the hotel. There is a nice big area in front of building 2 which could accommodate an indoor pool and hot tub enclosure. Stayed last night at this hotel. While it is old, they have painted to make it look a little newer. It looks like they still have some minor cosmetic repairs to make. The breakfast area was nice. We did not eat the complimentary breakfast. It was limited, which is fine, but we were also in a hurry to get back on the road. The lobby was nice and clean. The employees were very nice. Price and location worked great for us. The showers in our room and my in-laws room looked as if they hadn’t been cleaned very well. We did not complain to the front desk as it was late and we were tired. We just wanted to go to sleep. This motel is awesome. Very clean rooms staff was beyond helpful. Beds are amazingly comfortable. I highly recommend this motel
