Whisky Hotel Hollywood

Fun boutique hotel with a cigar lounge vibe. Beds were comfy, room was quiet, decor was fun and moody, a/c worked great and the rooftop breakfast was better than expected. There are minor little things that I would improve, like actual coffee cups instead of paper ones, but my only real complaint is that when I let the front desk agent know that our overhead shower was not working and that our bathroom needed a little attention, he looked at me with something between disinterest, and confusion as to why I might be telling him these things. He literally could not have cared less.

I recently spent 3 days and 2 nights at the Whisky Hotel in LA, and overall had a fantastic experience that I'd absolutely recommend to others. The Good: The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. The location is perfect for exploring LA, and the air conditioning worked exceptionally well (a real lifesaver!). My room was clean, spacious, and featured a great bathroom that made it feel like a true retreat. The absolute highlight was the rooftop restaurant and lounge. The views are breathtaking – you can see the Hollywood sign from up there! The atmosphere was wonderful, making it the perfect spot to unwind after a day of sightseeing. I wanted to share my experience from my recent stay. Unfortunately, the shower was a major issue. The water never got properly hot only lukewarm and the showerhead was not working well. We reported this, but the issue was never fixed during our stay. Another frustration was the parking situation. Guests were required to use the hotel valet service, which costs $40 per night. I personally prefer to park and use my own car, so being forced to use valet felt unnecessary and inconvenient. The biggest issue happened on our second morning. When we went to retrieve our car, we were informed that the valet had lost my Tesla key card. As a result, I had to pay $70 to replace it. At checkout, I spoke with the front desk associate to see if anything could be done—such as a credit or compensation—

We stayed at Whisky Hotel for the first time this weekend, and there is not one bad thing I can say besides I wish that we would have been able to stay longer! ||Upon arrival, we valeted our truck and went in to check in. The desk clerk advised us that they did not have the room we booked available, and they upgraded us to the presidential suite. We were stoked. The suite was amazing it had a long foyer, a bar, a living room area, with a separated bedroom. The bathroom had a stand alone tub and a walk in shower, ||The decor and vibe was on point from the lobby to the room, nothing looked thrown together or out of place. We had a delicious complimentary breakfast ant their rooftop bar, that has amazing view of the Hollywood sign, the Capitol Records building, and downtown LA. ||Oh yeah…yo

Positive: Location. Convenience. Decor. Negative: Breakfast was marginal. There were ants in our room. We were unable to change rooms due to the hotel being sold out.
