This motel is really good the rooms are clean and really cosy I stay there with my kids and it was nice and quiet the owner jay and his wife are super friendly and nice I would definitely come back soon....

I am impressed 👍 Wharton Inn is by far the most economical hotel I have been too. I actually fell in love with the room. The big comfortable bed in the center of the room with big fluffy pillows was my first stop I never noticed how much a headboard mattered until then. It set the entire feel of the room then I couldn't help but notice how nice the clean perfectly shined wooden flores matched the table, chairs dresser end tables and yes the headboard! The color's of the room keep it cozy and elegant.The dark and light brown almost red of the wood really went well with the antique light blue walls and navy grey trim while also blending naturally with the light yellow and burnt orange color given off from the lampshade, curtain,and comforter all tied perfectly in with the gold

Price: $50.00 (included tax)||Exterior: New Stucco. The outside & parking area were clean & well maintained.||Interior: Room was clean & didn't smell too chemically. One small table & two chairs. New microwave & mini frig. The floor looked new w/light-cherry wood laminate. The room color was a strange blue; would look better if it was beige or cream-colored. The bed was higher up than normal; no bed raisers were present. The mattress was old but still firm; no signs of bed bugs. Don't sleep on the bed edges, you may fall off. The sheets looked clean. Pillows are thin. I used my own pillow.||Bathroom: clean. The towels were thin & raspy. I used my own towels. The shower stream was strong & the water got hot quickly.||Staff: The staff were very friendly, courteous, & accommodating. I woke up

The positives were: great price, newer wood floors instead of old stained carpet like you usually find in older motels, decent sized tv with cable, working air conditioning, and a better quality set of sheets and pillows then most budget motels. Cons: sheets had weird smudges and oil looking spots on them which the staff quickly changed when I showed them, cobwebs in the corners, rough towels, no shampoo, mirrors very dirty, the door does not fit tight on the sides and you can see the outside, noisy traffic. The biggest issue was the bed was very hard with just a mattress on ply wood instead of a box spring. Overall about what is expected for the price.

I made a call to see if they had any Rooms available,which was for a family. They ask me was the person white or black. Why would you ask me such a thing. When I am trying to help you get some business. Really!!! Sounds like racism.
