Western Motel

Good budget motel to stay at short term. I felt safe and the front desk was kind. The room was decent for the price, but I did notice a roach. Blankets had some stains and the room was definitely old but you get what you pay for!! Water was hot, AC worked great, fridge worked. Overall 👍🏻

We were winging it on our way home when we stopped at the Western in the hopes of getting a King room w/ Micro & Fridge. Boy, did we get lucky.... The gentleman who checked us in was so friendly, efficient and professional, not at all what we had experienced for a while. The room was large, super clean and the bed firm but so comfortable. The bathroom utilities were clean with hot water and good shower pressure.The service was impeccable and the unlimited coffee in the morning was welcome. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Arrived and there were shirtless men hanging out on the upper walk way smoking pot. After the staff spoke with them we enter our room and it smelled strongly of smoke when we had requested non-smoking. We were able to move rooms and in the new room the air conditioning was not working. We moved into a third room that smelled poorly and the staff went in and sprayed a strong air freshener. I would not recommend staying here.

One of my top rated $45 to $65 lodgings. Basic, clean, practical. For example real key that works rather than those hit or miss cards. Nice thick towels, smiling, accommodating staff. Sure it's older, the paint on the walls show the age the fabric on the chair is faded, even a spot or two. But no bugs, shower controls that are straight forward, good ac, and good lighting. The outlets are even easy to reach. If you consider that for almost 50% of the time in the room is spent in the dark, who really cares about the paint, chair, or rug. I sleep just as good here as I do in a more expensive hotel. Heck, I'm afraid to sleep in an expensive hotel cause I feel like I'm just wasting my money when I c lose my eyes. Recommend for those who aren't in the Ritz crowd and just want a decent bed, hot

I stayed at this place a few times and it was decent. However, as someone who is disabled, I always request an accessible room to accommodate my physical limitations. Despite my request, I was placed in a regular room with no handicapped facilities because this motel and owners chooses profit over the needs of its patrons. They definitely lost me as a patron.
