Motel Jesup

If I could rate no stars I would. We stayed here long term. The staff was terrible and suddenly started charging us an extra $150 a week. They are struggling and up charging like crazy. The WiFi doesn’t work. Like. At all. It will connect sometimes. But most of the time you are reliant on your phone service. We went 2 weeks without at least getting our sheets changed by the house keeper before we left. And when we left nobody had came in almost 2 and a half weeks. Aside from towels sometimes. The husband and wife that own this establishment now are terrible people. And scammers. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

I really enjoyed my stay at Motel Jesup. It was absolutely amazing. The manger, owner, and employees treated me with a lot of respect and were really easy to get along with. They make you feel at home and treat you great. The rooms were VERY clean and cozy! There was a large variety of channels to choose from and the General Manager is always helpful if and when something goes wrong. There were a lot of places to eat around there that were convenient. Nothing was far from them. There was no noise and it was nice and quiet, very peaceful. The prices are reasonable and better than the other ones I went to. It was definitely a place my family enjoyed and it was a safe place. You can even pick if you want the first building or the second and request being around people or being alone. I loved

Owner wanted us to pay without seeing the room. First quoted $70, then raised it to $80. Does not refund at all. Cracks in ceiling. Smelled smoky. However, the room had been cleaned and the linens were clean.

The outlets were rigged, wires held together with tape, and exposed circuits. The shower was too disgusting to take a shower in. The sink was so low only a small child could use it without bending in half. One of the beds had a raggedy bottom sheet that was hanging off of it and no top sheet. I went to the office and they handed me a sheet and I had to make it myself. There was only one empty outlet near the door. I only went there because they took pets and my cat needed out of the car for the night. I don't recommend this place AT ALL.

A horrible experience! I checked in, and before unpacking I was relaxing on the bed when the room next door got very noisy and had another group or family apparently living there, just hanging outside the room cursing and making a lot of noise. I laid there for about an hour, hoping they would go away, but they didn't. I had not yet unpacked, so I grabbed my bag and moved it to the car. The manager and his wife walked by, and I told him I was leaving Because I felt in danger and asked them to reverse my charge. They offered me another room, but there is no way I was going to feel safe with that group. And now they refuse to reverse that charge!
