Western Motel Fitzgerald

Disgraceful….I stayed overnight for a funeral and this hotel was one of the only options at 12:00 a.m. I tried to get washed when I noticed the supposed to be white clothes appeared to be soiled. I called the front desk and he told me to come to the window to pick them up. When I arrived they were sitting outside the window. The toilet had brown stuff as if it wasn’t cleaned. I checked the beds as I normally do and there were blood spots on the sheets. I called front desk and he said “ you already called and housekeeping will not be in until tomorrow.” He was very rude in his delivery. I will never patronize this establishment again. They should be ashamed of themselves. I wouldn’t stay here if it’s the last place to stay. I will sleep in my car first. Beware, don’t stop, keep g

I drove 4 hours to stay 1 night for a litigation case I had the next day. The room was all I needed-tidy, clean and real close for court with my client the next morning.

I travel a lot for business so I stay in a lot of motels. I will tell you that the Western Fitzgerald is a cut above. Staff is friendly, maids give great service, and everything works in the room. The best part about it is it is really quiet. I sleep really well here and since I am working this is really important. Oh yeah, the WiFi rocks as well! I will be back here again.

You get what you pay for. The room was clean, check in and out was not a problem (it took a few minutes for someone to come to the night window for check in). There is not much of a breakfast to speak of. The only real issue is that the room was very hot when we first got there (around 10:30 pm) and took over 1 hour to cool down once we got the ac unit going.

It was a nice room. Location wasn’t all that. The lady at the reception desk seemed done for the day the whole time.
