West Wind Resort

The restaurant was a gem. The food was so tasty and served hot and fresh. The waitress we had was very kind to us and told us about where to get things locally. Very friendly, helpful staff.

Always loved this bar until tonight. Tried playing pulltabs and got told no because she had to give her brother and boyfriend a shot at buying it out to get the winners instead of letting others play.

My grandkids, my adult son and I were going to go fishing on Upper Red. We forgot a life vest and a tape measure. I was ecstatic the resort had both. The clerk at the tackle place said $10 for a used vest. 8 for a tape. I paid and was actually happy. I got to the boat and saw the price was 5.99. It's not the money. It's the principal. He was friendly, but he grabbed the vest and said 10 bucks to the girl. That's teaching her it's ok to screw people over. I'm 70! Very nice place just watch your purchases, check your own prices.

Cabins and RV sites right on Red Lake. Fabulous sunsets, fire rings at every site. Beautiful!

Excellent lunch! Great bloody Mary's a plus.
