Welaka Lodge & Resort

We had the most wonderful weekend at Weleka Lodge celebrating our mom’s birthday! The cabin was so cozy and decorated just perfectly—it felt like the ideal getaway spot. We rented a pontoon boat and spent the day at the springs, which was such a fun and memorable experience. The lodge itself has so much to offer too—a great restaurant with live music and a pool that made it feel like a true vacation. Everything was comfortable and inviting, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to make such special memories. Thank you for helping make our celebration so perfect. We can’t wait to come back!

I enjoyed everything about my stay. Cottage was very well stocked with everything you would need and more. Very comfortable beds, awesome shower, WiFi, cable and great atmosphere. Office staff was wonderful. Had one issue with the stovetop and David, maintenance guy, was there in a few minutes to correct. Love this place. Would definitely recommend and will visit again.

While traveling on the St Johns River we anchored and took our dinghy to the boat bar. Excellent service and delicious food and drink! We will be back!

Welaka Resort has a really cool vibe with a laid-back, welcoming atmosphere that makes it easy to relax and enjoy. The boat bar is a great touch—perfect for kicking back with a drink by the water. We loved the live music too—it added so much energy to the night and made the experience even better. Definitely a fun and unique spot to unwind!

First me and my fiance have been on several vacations in the last 4ish years. Welaka Lodge felt like home. First of all the staff there were first class, Will was on top of everything,we were there during Helene and lost power middle of the night and Will and staff were there starting generators so we had everything except A/C ( big difference). We stayed in unit 17 and the King size bed was unbelievable. I sleep the best I have in many years. The units are 100% clean and close to new,even had a nice big grill outside to use,and hot tub and comfortable outside furniture. Very nice and clean pool and bar. The two guys that played live was unbelievable great. ( I'm a guitarist). Overall they catered to us and we felt like family. So much so we ended up staying a few extra days. If your looki
