Weaverville Victorian Inn

They charged twice as much for a pet fee as 'anywhere' else on my month long trip. The pet friendly carpet was sticky & stained. THEN.... our room had NO hot water the next morning. Waiting on staff's call to someone in charge was not conducive to our schedule...so cold quick showers were taken & then were offered another bathroom with hot water was offered... too late. NO adjustment to bill was made & I promised to leave a bad review. Promise kept.

The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I was first placed in a room where the shower had no water. They moved me into a room with water but the pressure sucked and there was coffee in the coffee machine with MOLD in it. Honestly disgusting. They proceeded to move me into a third room who was okay I guess. I paid $140 which is INSANE for the quality and the service provided. I’ve asked for a partial refund at check out, they said they couldn’t do anything without the manager’s approval which is in maternity leave (how is that my problem btw). Plus they took a “processing fee” out of my deposit which I was assured at check in wasn’t gonna happen. If I could put 0 stars I would.

Impromptu stay, check in was very pleasant. But room underwhelming, stains on sheets, and TV doesn’t work along with slow Wi-Fi. Definitely not staying here ever again..

Although this one of the only places to stay I would not recommend staying here. Due to miscommunications my employees who have been there three nights are having to leave. The manager said she would call me and she did not and proceeded to be unprofessional and argue a moot point if the hotel was booked. I would rather have the guys drive 50 minutes from Redding than give my business to someone who doesn’t take care of their customers.

We had been kind of looking forward to staying here for a couple of years, since we started driving back and forth from Arcata to Redding to see my pulmonologist. The temperature was 95° outside, so (being from Arcata) we were ready for air-conditioning. |The "cold air blower" is positioned on the wall parallel to the beds, therefore blowing cold air directly onto the head of the beds. My husband laid down on the bed closest to the door, and was blasted with cold air sent directly to his head, which isn't helpful. |So I pulled one of the pink easy chairs (which had food crumbs underneath, because the chairs weren't moved during the vacuuming process) over to block the blast, but so the air could still circulate.
