Lovely warm historical hotel. Felt like home. The decor and attention to detail was remarkable. Terrific customer service. Comfy, cute and very clean. Highly recommend.

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the beautifully furnished, historically rich decor that gives the hotel its unique charm. Each room is distinct and thoughtfully decorated, offering a sense of stepping back in time—without sacrificing comfort.||||The beds were incredibly comfortable, and everything was spotless. It’s clear the staff takes great pride in maintaining the hotel to a high standard. We just love this hotel. It’s quaint, quiet and filled with loads of history. Anna Marie and team have thought through all the details. Impressive. We ended staying three nights due to weather impacting our backpacking but can’t say we were sorry as we enjoyed the warmth and coziness! Thank you

Adorable. Feels historic, which sadly as a 6' man, does include everything being a bit too short. With feet on the footboard my head just barely didn't touch the headboard and I had to crouch quite a bit in a small shower. There was a wand that could be positioned higher, but it only had pressure washer and dribble for settings, so I opted to crouch. But it had an adorable fireplace that you could set the temperature on, a wall full of old leather books, and beautiful art. Also loved just going straight to the room rather than checking in at the front desk.

This place is great. It's very old. The floors creak, the bed creaks, some doors don't shut right. The breakfast in the parlor is perfect. Spooky old hotel. The area is perfect for hiking and fishing. The location in the historic district is great. Lots of history on display. The doors are electronic locks with a special code just for you. It's great for a getaway as long as you don't need perfect modernity. For those that like spooky, the ghost they say haunts the place is a girl who died of typhoid at 15 years old in 1893 at the hotel and her grave is a block away.
