Weathervane Motel

Do not trust! It was a little after 5pm and we are 5 minutes away from arriving when we get a call from the hotel that the pipes are frozen and there is no hot water (we find out later it has been a problem since the morning). We end up booking another room somewhere else. The manager said he would refund, but has not refunded our money. He gave us lies that we needed to get from Expedia, but calls to Expedia confirmed that the manager charged us and had to issue the refund. After working with Expedia, we got the manager to agree to issue the refund. They said we would recieve to our credit card within 7 days. Well, it has been 7 days and no refund yet. If it shows up over the next couple of days, I will update this review, but I think the manager lied again and never issued it. There are

This hotel is the best hotel in Manchester, Vermont. The service is nice, clean, welcoming, and outstanding. I would say I love the location too, the rooms are nice, feels like home, the motel is welcoming, loving, trustworthy, and nothing better than the loyalty of the guests

Horrible. Showed up around 5pm on a Saturday. The motel was desolate, 3-4 cars in the entire lot, covered in snow. The lot had 4-5 inches of snow and was not plowed. It had snowed overnight the day before. The door to, what maybe was the office, was locked. Had to ring the doorbell to wait. Didn't check reservation, was just handed a key to a room. All the rooms at the motel were dark. As if nobody else was staying there. The walkway to the room was not shoveled. Upon entering the room. It was dark and freezing, no heat. Turned on the lights and the heat. There was no safety lock on either door, just the deadbolt that I was given the key for. The curtains did not cover the windows. It felt unsafe to be there, alone, as there appeared to be no other patrons at the motel. it felt like a bad

Amazing this place averages 3.5 stars - Beware. Look at the reviews from the past couple years and every review is negative with 2 stars being the highest. This is a bad place.||I pulled up and the property looked abandoned. It had snowed the night before, and at 5:00pm when I arrived, the driveway was still not plowed. It was difficult to determine which door was the reception area, and there were no lights on. It was also apparent I would have been the only guest.||Basically the whole place was sketchy and made me very uncomfortable. Seemed like the setting for a horror movie.||To their credit, the person checking me in, when I expressed my concerns, said they would not hold me to the reservation and would refund my money. It is a shame I must write such a bad review for such a great hotel, BUT, while the experience could have been the best ever...|Do not stay in room 111 ever. The hotel has some sort of water cistern which must be refilled every third night at 3 AM for an hour and the pipe goes thru that rooms ceiling. Absolutely impossible to sleep through! I thought a guest upstairs was running their hot tub. When I called the front desk and spoke with the General Manager he was loud, rude and informed me to live with it as there was nothing he could do about it and not to bother him again. In the morning I went to the front desk to complain to him in person but he was gone. The nice lady employee at the desk said she would pass on my concerns to management to attempt to reschedule the time of the flow.Th
