Weathervane Cottages

We had a great stay at the Weathervane cottages. The cottage was very new and spotless. We booked through Air BnB, and our host was very responsive and helpful. These are located in a great spot in Portsmouth and is pretty much central to a bunch of great places, restaurants, parks, beaches. We very much enjoyed our stay!

We had the BEST experience at Weathervane Cottages. It exceeds all expectations. We wanted to stay in Newport but everything was either booked or over $1000/night. The cottages are impeccably clean and come with all hotel amenities without the hassle. We were given a parking spot that corresponded with our cottage number, there was a wagon to move our luggage, we were given a code to access our cottage via email a couple days before and there is a designated outside space for each guest. I cannot emphasize enough how clean the cottages are..we are pretty nit-picky and this was far and away the cleanest place we ever stayed in. We were about 15 minutes from downtown Newport and even got to explore places like Bristol that we ended up enjoying even more. The cottages are close enough to eve

I visited Weathervane cottages twice and it's an absolute favorite. Each person or couple has their own private cottage, perfect for a friends' weekend or retreat. The setting has plenty of outdoor space to relax and reconnect. We loved the Solo Stoves and gathering around the campfire. This is a cozy, comfortable alternative to a hotel and it's conveniently located near Bristol and Newport and all that Aquidneck Island has to offer. Highly recommend!

Such attention to detail!! The cottages are lovely and located close to so many area attractions. Cottages are so pretty inside and out - and come supplied with pretty much anything you might need during a short stay (it was great to see reusable items instead of plastic). The bed was really comfortable; and the lighting by the sink is great for doing your makeup (so rare to find in so many accommodations). We’ll book again!

I attended an event at the the weathervane cottages a few months ago. What a charming place! All the cottages were new or newly renovated with all the amenities you could ask for. The glamping site also looked amazing.
