We had a fantastic time at Weary Feet Hostel— Eric “Juke box” was full of fun stories and we cannot wait to go back to meet Brigid “Purple Haze” next time. In January 2025 they acquired the hostel from the former owner who still lives in the area. As Foodies themselves, they make incredible meals! For supper the first night we had cheese stuffed shells with arrabiata meat sauce and the second night we had “Mexican lasagna.” Both nights there was a yummy salad and the second night there was a yummy homemade cake. Eric mentioned how much he likes it when gluten-free hikers come through as he is (completely) gluten-free himself, and it allows him to have second crack at any leftovers. Home cooked meals, flexible to needs if hij3rs, clean rooms and friendly to well-behaved hiker dogs...Eric and Brigid Rock. I mean dinner with A&W root-beer float dessert? Heaven!
Very hospitable and warm. Awesome showers and great foot. Beautiful property.
