Wandering Oaks RV Resort

Pretty park and close to stores and local attractions. But wouldn't recommend. There is a dog that kept us up all night had to drive the next day for travels so rough.

We stayed for just an overnight at Wandering Oaks RV Park and were quite happy with it. The owner/management (Garrett was the person we worked with) was very involved and interested that we enjoy our stay. I had trouble making a charge to my credit card when trying to make an online reservation, so tried to call the number given. No one answered, so I went ahead and tried a VISA card instead of AmEx on the reservation website and got the reservation made. However, before I had even finished with my reservation, Garrett called in response to my voicemail and asked if I needed help. He called again the day we were to arrive to let us know that he would be away from the office for a bit and would leave our registration packet on the porch of the office. Wonderful RV park! Stayed full time for over a year and the place was always beautiful. Laundry room is excellent and I loved being able to check availability with their app before loading up my clothes. Very dog friendly as well! If you need long term in the area this is your RV park.

Right off Hwy 20 convenient to get in. Was surprised how nice bathrooms/showers were. Site was pull through gravel level sites decent space. Had a pool that was not open yet when we were there. Dog park could have been a little nicer. Great little restaurant(Mae’s) right in back of campground went twice first time had a steak and asparagus that was great next day went back for a burger that was just ok, Salad bar was nice.

We are traveling in our motorhome across country and Eastland Texas was the perfect for us to get off the road for a few days. It's been bitter cold for weeks.The host was ready for us. They have a very nice bath house and laundry. Super clean and it all looks brand new. I was SO thankful we had very hot water and a beautiful shower room. If we are ever this way again we would definitely stay.
