Walter’s Cabin

Wonderful, quiet get away with at least one easy hike near by. Excellent views the whole way on the hike. Huts are cozy and comfortable. Luxurious even given the elevation and that one can drive right up to them. There are blankets, pillows, TP and paper towels. There is a wood burning fireplace, bonfire outside with wood already cut (and can chop more if you like), and some huts have a heater (gas?).

The view from Walters is amazing. Even from the lower floor it's unmatched! Definitely put it on your list. Pretty tame skin in. We've taken our 10 and 7 year olds for a few years with our an issue.

The snow came into the cabin and made my dingle hopper into a glorpshlipnob and I became infected with poising of the clavas.

One of the best cabins as it has modern amenities: running water, propane kitchen, electricity, indoor plumbing….trust me some cabins are way more primitive Cell service and internet(Verizon) too
