Walpole Motel

Was staying with my husband , when we were woken to cops asking questions about the guests in the room next to us, who passed from an overdose... I do not recommend. The hot water took 2-3 minutes to get warm and gaps in windows and doors leaving extreme draft. Was better off sleeping in the car . Definitely a last resort if you just need a quick sleep.

Positive: Convenient and close to where we were this weekend Negative: It looked like a run down motel. Garbage sitting outside doors. No heat in rooms. Bed was uncomfortable. That 70?s show called and asked for there bedspread back. When my keycard stopped working I inconvenienced them at 930 in the morning to get a new one

The grossest place I ever stayed by a very wide margin. Stained furniture with burn holes, (it’s a non smoking place) half a roll of TP and no spare, uninviting sign asking to turn down the bed so it isn’t stained. Gross fridge and Microwave- wouldn’t put my food in them. Grounds are covered in weeds and not kept. We booked to have a place to stay after an event at Gillette. It is a hard 2 mile walk, after the event in the dark - it got the job done as a place to crash, but so not recommended - the owners can do much better for very little additional cost.

Great price for rooms. Be careful booking online. I did and saw they have weekly rates when I arrived. I asked to convert to a weekly rate and was told because I booked online they couldn't. There are no in-room phones. There seems to no staff overnight, so issues overnight you are on your own, and since no phone you can't call the front desk. It is on route 1, which makes an ideal motel for businesses in the area for those looking to save money. Bring singles for the soda machine, and select carefully. Not all dispense what you want, and it does not give change. I used a five for a water, got an orange soda, and no change. It was $3. Very convenient, room was clean, check-In was speedy, the internet was fast. Strategic location and the price was very very affordable. Thank you in sleep well and had a good stay.
