Walmar Manor Campground

Walmar Major Campground is an understated, pleasant, and affordable place to stay. It was frosty weather while I was there, so not a lot going on, which was just what I was after as I got familiar with my new rig. I liked that the sites are sunny, not under trees. This campground is open all year with full hookups. Easy on and off Route 15. Pet friendly.

Wal-mar Manor was a good place to stop to visit family nearby and visit Gettysburg. Quite a few full timers but not an issue. We did not use laundry or showers so can’t speak to them. Not a fancy place but safe and clean.

Very nice place to stay while visiting the Gettysburg Military Park and surrounding area. |Jeff and his staff are very friendly and accommodating if you need anything. The grounds are well kept, except for a few of the permanent rigs but hey, look past it and have a wonderful time. |See you again, some day!|Larry

Old run down campground. Lots of full timers in old campers. Office staff not very friendly. Site was narrow and firepit was full of grass growing. It was a good place for us to stop overnight on our way south . Quiet at night which was a plus. Wouldn’t recommend.

Had a great stay, very straightforward and a fantastic value. Good, friendly communication, too. I drove my Tesla here and they had a great spot for me, 50A charger let me use camp mode and still wake up fully charged and ready to hit the road. I used the Tesla brand blow up mattress for the Model Y which worked out perfectly. I will stay here again, recommended!
