Rodeway Inn Dillsburg

Stayed for two nights. This motel was your standard 1-star motel with faded road sign, bad paint job in the room, paper-thin walls, and a weird semi-remodeled bathroom. However, the room was very clean and the staff were super friendly! With the right expectations coming into it, this is a great place to say.

The office manager was helpful and friendly. The room was clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable. A/C worked well. My only complaint is the bathroom. The bathroom door wouldn't stay closed. The bathroom was very small and needed updating, but it was clean. Housekeeping came in daily to straighten up and give us clean towels, which we thought was very nice. Most hotels don't do that daily anymore.

Nice little hotel in a small town. Great prices for the rooms. Rooms are very clean with microwave and refrigerator. Nice little stop over to stay at if you are near Gettysburg. They don't offer breakfast, but the price is so reasonable, so really can't complain. Highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was fine overall. This went much better than my previous experiences with a different Rodeway Inn. The room was clean, everything worked and I liked being able to park directly in front of the room. It was farther from Carlisle Fairgrounds than I generally prefer to stay, but that's on me for waiting so long to book my room for the car show.

My room was moldy. I believe it was the AC unit? All my stuff smelled like mold the following day. In addition the bed & pillows were terrible. I had to take anti inflammatory medication after I woke as I woke in pain (my back & neck). I got 4 hrs of sleep (too painful) Speaking of sleep…this hotel is located by a road that is non stop traffic & it’s noisy! I realize the traffic is not the fault with of the owner, but bad location. Finally, I wouldn’t have commented if I hadn’t received this email as I don’t like to give negative comments. I rather not complain. Finally, too much $ for this place. The price should have $60 a night (instead of $100) as the hotel doesn’t provide anything but a microwave, mini fridge a bar of soap, small bottle of shampoo and a hair drier that was broke.
