Waikōloa Colony Villas

Nice rooms and grounds. 2 pools but only 1 with hot tub. Very strict at pools- 5 year old was shushed for playing too loudly in the pool (not even being loud) at 3 pm on a sunday during christmad break. Only thing for young kids is the pools which clearly arent kid friendly. Nothing within walking distance. No markets, restaurants, bar or beaches within 1.5 miles that arent private (dont believe the maps), not even a vending machine on site. No front office or anyone to talk to with issues, no one answers locked gates if the code isnt working or you forgot (the codes are different than the ones we recieved prior to arrival). Have to use code to get out of the pools. No playground on site. The front gate was left unlocked 9/10 days of our stay so not very secure. Would not recomnend for fam

We stayed at this property for a week and truly enjoyed it. The location is excellent, especially if you have kids and want to use Hilton's pools. We stayed at unit 505 which provided a pass to Hilton pools for 6 people. This unit was in excellent condition. The owner provided kitchen appliances, utensils, and beach necessities and toys.

Good price, but expect issues. Our unit had multiple lights that did not have working bulbs. No pathway from porch area to the pool also no walkway from parking to unit. Had to walk back around through the main road or trek through the garden. Biggest issue was the pool tenant continuously scolded our kids for loud noises (having fun) in the pool areas during the middle of the day. Seems more like an old person home area rather than a kid friendly pool areas. Pool area basically has to be completely quite no kids laughing or expressions of joy. Feels more like a compound vs a vacation pool.

It is a beautiful villas next to hilton hotel. Visitors who book these bills get a free entry to the hilton swimming pool and parking. Food is good

Our villa was a good size for our family of 5 but very dirty. We did not originally book from this location but Resortica put us here after a maintenance issue happened at another location. The communication was good, but we were a bit disappointed to have to settle for this place. We received a small refund that covered maybe a couple meals, but we suggest staying elsewhere.
