Wachapreague Inn

I absolutely love this place. So much so, that I plan my route to and do Georgia each year around staying here on the way. The rooms are immaculate and cozy, the staff is warm and welcoming. The location is tranquil and picturesque. When I am here, I’m truly I. My happy place.

We have stayed at this property twice while touring the Eastern Shore on bicycles. Rooms are clean and have all necessary amenities. Staff helpful and friendly. Responded immediately to a problem with the heating and cooling system in one of our rooms and quickly resolved the issue. A good seafood restaurant is just steps away. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Virginia’s Eastern Shore.

So I wanted to have a little get away for anniversary, with the hustle and busle of work and life, it was very last minute. I just happened to find the Wachapreague Inn by accident, I called to make a reservation, they were very understanding and accommodating, let me book a one night stay. Once we arrived we were incredibly surprised, they put out a Happy Anniversary sign out front. The staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. We found the room very quaint, tidy and incredibly clean. We walked next door to the Fish House restaurant, very good food, and friendly atmosphere. Overall, this is a great little place, we will definitely return for a longer stay.

This is the second time we have stayed at this property while on a bicycling trip on the Eastern Shore. Rooms are clean and have all the necessary amenities. Staff is friendly and responsive to all requests. Property is across street from a seafood restaurant where you can get a good meal at a reasonable price.

First things first....this is an older motel. It was built a number of years ago..so what it offers was the standard at that time...no large rooms, no suites, no love seats etc. However it is very clean & functional..It offers a comfortable nights rest by the sea. The staff & office are very friendly & knowledgeable..The Island House Restaurant is directly across the street. BTW this is the only motel in Wachapreague. Recommended..
