Village Marina Motel

Really enjoying this little motel. This is a small, local motel without a lot of the frills of larger establishments. However, it is located right at the beach/boot accesses, the rooms are extremely clean and well maintained, the place is overall very nice. Ample space and the rooms/ efficiencies for multiple people. TVs and both bedrooms. Also has a very nice little kitchen at with mini fridge and microwave as well as a sink. Towels, washcloths, etc. towels, washcloths, etc. Were well stocked in the room when we arrived Were well stocked in the room when we arrived.

We had two rooms upstairs. Although there are only 12 rooms total, it was a busy little spot due to DInky's seafood across the parking lot. Once the restaurant shut down for the night (nothing is open late in the Village!), it quieted down and there was plenty of parking. If you arrive between 5-9 p.m., you might have a bit of a walk across the lot. There are stairs involved even on the first floor.||||There were boats going out early but with the AC running that were undetectable. Ceiling fans available in living room (trundle bed for 2) and in the bedroom (2 beds). I wouldn't want to have stayed if I were a family of four but for 2 adults it was fine. I so so very much enjoy coming here and staying with the wonderful kind people at the village Marina motel. The place is perfectly located right at the water. When I arrived I went straight for the boat to go fishing. When I return from my fishing trip I checked into my room with a lovely lady who kept me smiling with simple conversation. I believe it's the same lady I meet every year when I visit. I got my key went into my room and of course the air conditioner was on the place was very neat. There was no sign that anyone had previously stayed there as the room did not smell of smoking nor of anything that would cause you to have a uncomfortable and dissatisfied night. But that is what I expect of this place because that is what the village Marina staff does they make sure you're comforta

We checked in late with no problem. We were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and spaciousness of our room for a beach motel. It looks great and, while we only spent one night, it would be a nice place to spend a few days while on the area. Highly recommend for a good value in this area.

I just spent two nights at the Village Marina Motel in Hatteras Village. I travel extensively for work, and spend a lot of time on the road. The was one of the cleanest motels that I have ever stayed in. It is a simple, no frills motel, but the beds are comfortable and the rooms are large. It is also within walking distance to several restaurants and shops. The location right on the marina is perfect for fisherman with everything you need right at your front steps. After reading a couple of the reviews I was concerned about staying here, but I could not have been more pleased with my stay.
