Village Inn

We arrived at approximately 1:42 AM after a long drive and were extremely tired. When we arrived, there were no staff members present at the front desk, and we had to wait a long time before receiving any assistance. To make matters worse, the power in the hotel went out, leaving us with no lights and no heat, and no one informed us or explained what was happening. During the night we felt uncomfortable and unsafe because there was no staff available and no communication about the situation. We spent the night cold and in complete darkness, which is unacceptable for paying customers. When we woke up around 4:30 AM, the power was still out and the front desk remained unattended. Because of the conditions and lack of service, we decided to leave. This experience was extremely disappointin

The guest service was professional and friendly. Rooms were very clean and location was excellent as we needed a room for one night on our travels| Veterans welcome. Easy check in check out. All ammenities provided. Parking spacious and well lit. Sheets and pillow cases crisp and fresh a big plus for traveling in my opinion.

Had to stay here unexpectedly during a trip. Very pleasant stay. Room was nice and warm after a cold weekend of work. Owner/staff was very friendly.

I have been a travel agent for 30 years and stayed in hundreds of hotels but I have never had a terrible experience like this one before. Checked in at night and read the reviews on trip advisor and was excited to support a local family owned motel instead of a chain. The guy that checked me in at the office was pleasant (this interaction) and I was able to request room 39 farther away from the main highway to not hear the trucks going by. This turned out to be a mistake as when I opened the door I was greeted by a very strong smell of mold and mildew. The carpet is very old and definitely needs to be cleaned. The shower and bathroom were in fine condition. Under the top bedspread was only a thin sheet, no blanket for the bed. I found an older style blue blanket stamped with village inn i
