Villa Serra

A phenomenal place for us to spend our vacation in Pepin! Absolutely adorable lakeside cottage vibes. I know the number one complaint is definitely the train, but honestly every place on the lake in this town is by the tracks so that’s not anything unique to Villa Serra. This didn’t apply to our group, but the main way to access most of the house is via staircases, which may pose problems to those with mobility concerns. Just something to keep in mind when you’re looking for places to stay. Our hosts were super helpful and kind. We had six people in our group and there was plenty of space and accommodations. a very nice home, updated decor, nice colors, and amenities; however, it should be mentioned, there is a very loud, fast train with lots of cars, that goes by, every half hour, sometimes two trains going both directions at the same time, even during the night. And YES, it does matter.

We couldn't have found a better place to stay. The hosts thought of everything and the accommodations were excellent. We really enjoyed the view from the front porch and the peace and quiet that went with it
