Ventura Ranch KOA Holiday

Good experience. Nice large spot for our 42 foot fifth wheel. Peacocks were so fun to watch! Looks like they have a ton of activities and amenities for kids and such a big park. No complaints.

I spent the last two days of my camper trip at the Ventura. We wanted to pack up and tidy the camper before returning it while the kids occupied themselves at the pool. |It is by far the worst campsite of my five week trip. And the most expensive. I booked one of the best sites to have a nice end to the vacation. With patio. 150$ per night. Site 12 booked. |But I am very disappointed. |The pool was broken, the wifi didn't work, it only had three chairs on our site, there are four of us. Reported everything to the office but nothing happened. It has way too few showers so you have to wait in line for 25 minutes. It smelled like a drain on my site. |We wanted to do the laundry but there were no washing machines on the campsite. |Not to mention all the leaves that kept falling from the trees

We could not have been happier with our home away from home this holiday. Ventura Ranch KOA truly felt like a dream campground, offering all the amenities and activities of a high-end resort. From tipis, wagons, and cabins to scenic hiking trails, an epic zipline course, and a beautiful pool, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Its location, just one hour north of LA and centrally positioned for easy day trips throughout California made it even better for this family. We were impressed and cannot wait to return.

Overall it’s fun for the kids with the jumping pillow and just being outdoors but the drain in our cabin’s shower was plugged and made taking a shower very gross. Also, make sure you physically call and lock in all sites on one phone call. I tried very hard to make sure my group was together MONTHS before my visit and was very frustrated to find out one family wasn’t close at all. After all my early emails and calls to ensure we would be together, I was shocked the staff didn’t tell me exactly what I had to do in order to make that happen. I know for next time but it made this trip a flop.

My wife and I were in space #5 and the site its self was nice. However the majority of of our stay we felt we were camping inside an Andy Gump. The sewage smell was so strong and prevalent the entire time of our stay, that we put our fire out and went into our RV EVERY NIGHT. TOO BAD, THE AREA ITSELF IS NICE, but will NOT BE BACK. The staff was very nice.
