Venice on the Lake RV Park

Be advised: the photos and videos on their web site are NOT indicative of the actual site. The grounds were unkempt, trash was evident everywhere, and dogs were roaming freely. ||||We made a reservation after visiting their website and immediately wanted a refund due to the deplorable conditions. We were also promised a receipt for our reservation payment; one was not sent. We were told refunds are only given if cancellation is made less than 24 hours after the reservation was made. This is very hard to do when the website is obviously a “bait and switch” advertising scheme.||||The office staff promised a refund for 3 of the 4 days of our reservation. This is understandable due to a cancellation upon arrival. But not refunding the remaining 3 days to false advertising is deplorable. The st

Beautiful location. Affordable. Friendly... moved away june of last year and miss Lisa and Jenn so much. Both so lovely and friendly always smiling even when not feeling well. Lisa always has coffee made in mornings when she works and enjoys when people sit down n drink a cup w her. Daniel is a jack of all trades but a master of ministry from what ive heard. Unfortunately i never got to go to see him im action. How he has the time to do sermons keep park clean n well maintained plus help people in park when he can I will never know. So.much on his plate and still has time to help those in need. The office also has guests (and management themselves) bring in donated items to give to people who need it... I dont know how many times I walked in n they had can foods and other foods n snacks

They are absolutely amazing. Kind people and supportive. Also extremely helpful. My mom and I stayed there and just the people and managers are extremely friendly and easygoing. Jordan Fontaine has caused us a ton of issues and they have been helping out. He left a hateful review because he has not been minding the rules and is extremely disrespectful. And I will tell you what he said is completely false. Lovely area.

I have lived in this park for one year now and it has been a very pleasant experience. Management here especially Daniel go above and beyond to make this establishment a place to call home and or a vacation spot. As long as you follow the rules of the park just like you'd have to anywhere you should not have any issues and if you do, you just need to properly bring them up to management. To me it's beautiful here my neighbors are awesome and I know just about everybody in the park. Personal opinion, if you give a bad review at any place is because you did something wrong not because the establishment did. All three of the management team do their best to work with people.

The first month we moved in, the manager was amazing! She discounted our rent by $50 a month for 4 months and gave us what I thought to pay the pet deposit (totally weird btw since I own my own rv) over the same 4 months. Later I found out I had to pay that deposit in a month and a half. It was ridiculous. We paid late our first month because my dad is on social security and it’s his place. We were told we would get evicted. Thankfully no paperwork was ever posted. Secondly, a week into us being here I take my dog down to the dog park. One kid has a beautiful dog and became buddies with my son. LOVED IT! then as soon as I let my dog off the leash, that dog attacked my dog.
