The Landing at Seven Coves

This was a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. Our two-bedroom unit had plenty of space for me, my mom and my sister, and the two large bathrooms were a great bonus. Morning sunrises with coffee and a book on the balcony were the perfect way to start each day. We also loved the fully equipped kitchen, which made cooking breakfast and the occasional dinner easy.||A few things could be improved. Our air conditioning didn’t work, and without screens on the balcony doors, we couldn’t let in fresh air because of the bugs. The furnishings are a little out dated and we could have used some more kitchen items (I.e a pizza cutter!) The pool wasn’t heated and was too cold to use during our stay. Was supposed to be the for a week. Cut short due to a water main break and zero planning from management for such an event. Loved the locating but loud. All single room units are downstairs so all we heard most of the trip was running feet and booms from items dropped or a vacuum. Could also clearly hear noise from side units. Updating needed but was clean. Loved the balcony over the water. They do allow smoking on the balcony which I appreciated as I do enjoy a cigar. Really enjoyed the location but will not return primarily due to the noise issues.

Exterior needs TLC! Nothing a pressure washer could fix. Elevator was out of order and according to other reviews has been out for some time. The room initially was stinking but the stink was more like stagnat smell. Once I spent 2 hours cleaning it was nice!!! Views are amazing!!! Parking for boats and trailers need work but overall ok.

Resort is about an hour north of Houston. We stayed here while visiting the Texas Renaissance Faire, which is about 45 minutes away. Nothing is really close since you need to drive around the lake to get anywhere. Shopping and restaurants are 20-30 minutes away.|Unit was large and had 2 master bedrooms (one upstairs) with attached baths, which worked great for us (2 couples). One of the things I didn't like was having to take a shower in the soaking tub. It didn't feel safe as a senior trying to get in and out. A walk-in shower would have been better in at least one of the bathrooms!|Loved the balcony overlooking the lake (literally). You could fish off the balcony! Resort even rented fishing poles. They also had games and puzzles to check out, which we took advantage of. Office h

If you’re coming to the area for a specific purpose wedding, training etc this place is perfect for that. In October the weather is beautiful the views are breathless and there is a cool little restaurant/bar within walking distance. Mind your step thou, the street/pathways need some maintaining. City life is 15/20 min away and about another 15/20 still 40 to 50 minutes from Bush Intercontinental Airport. Plenty of restaurants, things to do and quaint towns nearby.
