Valley View Motel

This motel is more than we expected. A room with 2 beds wasn't but $53 and change. We had been staying at the bigger chain hotel/motels and didn't realize that this little piece of heaven was here. I absolutely wish we would have known about this place sooner because it just feels like home. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and smells like home. The gentleman who checked us in reminded me of my grandfather and was very welcoming.

People critic this place to be not good , stay at home!!!! Nice , cheep and clean. This area is not to stay the whole day in the hotel room, this place is to go out in the nature. Space room , clean and like to grandmother.......what do you need more?! And for this price you find nothing else better.......we go back every year. Welcome to the real American hospitality!

After reading the reviews here I booked us a room and we arrived on motorcycles as planned. The exterior of the hotel is clean and quaint, vintage 50's. Unfortunately the interior is also still 50's vintage and while the bathroom and linens were clean the rest was less than that. The wall unit a/c had a musty/ smokers odor and the filter was really dirty. The carpet was also very dirty and the beds felt like they too were 50's vintage. The older couple that own it were very nice and offered suggestions on eateries and such. The location is right off US 11 but not noisey and the rates were very cheap.. around $50 per night. Sadly with the poor beds, really dated interior and dirty carpet and a/c , it was not worth it. There are only 8-10 rooms but if the owners would clean up the rooms and

For $43, you cannot beat this clean, American owned, family owned motel!!! Close to several good places to eat and shop (5 to 7 minutes), two minutes from a loves and a pilot travel center. |If you're looking for a fancy five-star hotel, move on!! If you are looking for a nice, quiet, CLEAN and safe place to stay, you can't beat Valley View Motel!! It did not have a coffee pot or hairdryer, but I did not ask for either because I did not need either. I will definitely stay here again!!

This place is awesome. It's located on Route 11 just minutes from Woodstock, VA (8 minutes if I'm not mistaken). The price for a room with 2 beds wasn't but $53 and change. The room is large and clean and the sheets were clean. I wish we would have known about this place sooner because it just feels like home.
