Valcour Inn and Boathouse

We had our wedding here in late September at the boathouse. It was everything we could have hoped for and wanted in our wedding. The staff was so wonderful. Richard and Lauren were a delight to work with and were extremely flexible with all our requests. The communication with both of them was phenomenal. They even saved the day with last minute recommendations for a charter bus when ours cancelled the day before our wedding! I wouldn't have wanted to work with anyone else. 10/10 Excellent in every way! The food was fantastic, and we greatly enjoyed having late night snacks during our reception, which a lot of weddings do not have. The portions were real portions! Not like at a lot of weddings where the portions are small and you leave hungry. No one left hungry here! I highly recomme

I know what the food was supposed to be and that’s not what it was not professional as it should be at a wedding i’ve felt sorry for one of my best friends that she had to do this and go through this and have people choke on a bone that’s supposed to be boneless Cordon Bleu which it wasn’t not even close no sauce on it like it was served at the presentation and subpar watered down demi-glaze which was supposed to be a beautiful cream sauce with peppercorn not to mention a plated salad dinner that you pay for that you plop a big bowl on the table let it sit for 45 minutes and have people pass it around 10% per table with their own fork. We recently had our wedding at the Valcour Inn and Boathouse, and it was nothing short of incredible. The venue is absolutely breathtaking—set right on the shores of Lake Champlain, with stunning views that created the perfect atmosphere for both our ceremony and reception. Richard, our main point of contact, went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. He was kind, organized, and incredibly attentive to every detail. We truly couldn’t have done it without him. His support made the planning process feel easy and stress-free, and on the big day, he was right there to make sure everything went off without a hitch. We celebrated our wedding here in September 2025—absolutely stunning location, venue, and service. Specifically, Richard is the site coordinator and is awesome to work with. All of our guests were in love with the sweeping lake views and charming boathouse.

This was way beyond expectations. Beautifully appointed room, balcony with exquisite view of the lake and grounds. Outdoor seating in so many places, beverages and breakfast items available, so much attention to details to make a comfortable stay! Peaceful. Can’t wait to come back!
