Great campground for tents or small campers. The sites do not have electric and some are kind of small. Bathroom facilities are dated, but this is a good no frills campground. If you’re lucky enough, you can book a waterfront site that has beach and lake access. The view from those sites are incredible!!! The beach in the day use area is huge, with picnic tables under trees, and an access path for wheelchairs. Note that there are no lifeguards at this beach.

I will add some context before beginning: my husband (unlike me), is not easily disgusted. So when he says it's bad, I know that it's REALLY bad. This was our first time here. Booked two nights online and there were plenty of sites available, all with the same description and claiming to be partially shaded. Chose one randomly. Arrived at the park to discover that our site had no shade and the empty one next to it is almost completely shaded. It was the beginning of July, it was HOT and we do not have AC. We come here for walks. If you are patient you will see blue herons, osprey, hawks and other assorted wildlife. Very peaceful. Most of the visitors are friendly.

Do Not Camp Here!....unless you enjoy being treated like a criminal. The staff here were rude to my entire group, which consisted of 5 couples. We have camped together for many years. We all get our own sites, and we take turns each night for dinners. From the time we got there the staff were riding around in carts critiquing our campers telling us were doing this or that wrong. They would come onto our sites in the evenings telling us we needed to get to bed, were being to noisy when we were simply talking quietly around our bonfire One couple in our group were breaking camp to leave and went 10 minutes after 11 and they were right there scolding them. Just absolutely the worst camping experiece I have ever had. It's a shame too because it really is so beautiful there.

Beautiful location! I was visiting my daughter at college, I brought her dog to visit her. Great place to hang out and relax. The beach is gorgeous! Nice facilities.
