Ute Mountain Casino Hotel

Absolutely beautiful park. Sites were spacious and easy to get in and out. Large dog park, not suitable for small dogs though due to big gaps at gate openings which makes it easy for them to escape. Would not recommend letting puppies off leash unless you can block the gates. Showers were amazing. Plenty of hot water and good pressure. Laundry rooms were clean with no shortage of machines. I would definitely recommend staying here. Be sure to check out the restaurant and buffet while you’re here. The food was amazing and the prices even better!

Stayed at this hotel because we were planning on going to the 4 corners and it is close to this spot. I saw online this place had mixed reviews, but I figured it would be ok for a 1 night stay. We check in and when we get to the room I notice a spot on the floor that looks like someone spilled a bottle of red nail polish. I did not want to get charged for this so I went to the front desk and showed the lady a picture of the spot and asked her to put a note on my room. She did not ask my name or the room number and then said “I made a note”. We went in the pool and hot tub and noticed that the water was cloudy. Almost as if someone put on a bunch of sunscreen and then jumped in the pool. Later that day I was covered in hives from head to toe. The casino was fine and they had free soft drink

Positive: We had a lot of fun and a great experience in the casino Negative: The room! The bed was comfortable which is always nice, but the a/c was ridiculously noisy! It was hot out, so a/c was definitely needed, but every time the a/c kicked on, it sounded like an airplane was landing in the room! We barely slept all night.

Exploring the cliff dwellings at Mesa Verde was a journey back in time. I crawled through narrow tunnels and stood in kivas, imagining the Ancestral Puebloans who lived here 800 years ago. Balcony House’s ladder climb made my palms sweat, but the view from the top — the valley below, the sun on the sandstone — was worth it. It’s humbling to see homes built with such skill, still standing after centuries

Stopped in for one night got a great price on the room even though the lobby smelled like cigarettes the room did not thank God impeccable room great casino. I won a couple hundred dollars. The only thing I would say to need to improve on is their food. It was really really bad. I had to drive into town to get dinner.
