very nice place. especially for sunset and sunrise 😎
Beautiful spot. I counted 4 sites, spaced well apart. FR 87 was well gravelled and maintained, except for a few rough spots. I drove an XTerra 4WD but I think any vehicle with decent clearance would have been fine. Trail down to the lakes is fairly gentle but coming back up was strenuous due to the altitude. Lots of fish down there! A valuable resource in this summer of Covid.
Exquisite, majestic, stunning. FULL of trash. If you come here, for the love of all things sacred, pack out what you pack in.
Nice , private spit but a bit of a walk to go fishing
So beautiful. Stayed twice while backpacking on the CDT
