Chama River RV Park & Storage

We had a wonderful stay at Chama River RV Park. David was very helpful with getting us there when we had a GPS warning for road width and weight. The GPS didn't realize that the location of concern was beyond the campground. The park was clean and inviting. Great place to stay and very economical if you are a Passport America member.

9 cabins right on the Chama River. Absolutely a beautiful property weekend retreat with a swinging bridge and primitive campsites or full hookups for RV. Located just below El Vado lake.

We spent a week in September in cabin 2 and really enjoyed it. The weather was cool and it rained a couple of days. The fishing was the best that we had. The trout tasted good cooking them outside on the grill. We go there every year, sometimes with friends. It is a beautiful place to stay, David Cooper takes good care of you and your stay. Beautiful tent camping location right by the river and the shuttle service was really great because even though we did the river in two days instead of three, my car was still waiting for me at the Big Eddy take-out. Much thanks for that!
