A very relaxing place to visit on the river. It is located in the Big Bend Campground. A day use (recreation) area with three parking places. A picnic table with grill and three park benches. Their are also two pit toilets. Plenty of shade. A nice place to have a picnic or enjoy the gentle breeze and fall colors.
Small campground about a mile north of Big Bend campground. Some road noise, but not as crowded as Big Bend. Site one is not completely level (2025).
It's a decent place to camp, 10 miles outside of Moab, river access, but daytime traffic not so pleasant 🤷♂️
Clean bathroom, very close to the street. Seems like half have a view of the river. When we had camped it was very windy (20-30 mph) until about 9pm. If you are looking for just a basecamp type of place it's good, if you looking to relax and enjoy the water not so much. Arrive early to all of the camping in the area or you will be searching for a place to grab.
Beautiful campsite, but too close to the street!
