The hotel was okay. We walked in and the smell was really musty. The bathroom walls were really dirty and the light switch was behind the fridge which was kinda weird? The sheets had ink stains on them but I guess things like that happen, until today when checking out I found a hair tie in the bed sheets, which means they weren’t changed before I checked in. Gross. It’s an awesome location and the staff were really nice and friendly from what I saw but overall the room was dirty.

This hotel had a lot of issues. First off, when we arrived no one was at the front. There was a sign that said they stepped away so please call a number for them to return, well we called and nothing. So we waited about 10 min until someone finally showed up. You can tell these use to be dorm rooms previously which is fine. The rooms have a small little kitchenette which was nice. But immediately when we got in our room, it stunk. It smelled like a hockey gym bag. The tv remote did not work and the air conditioners worked only slightly. Then 20 min after getting settled in, the front desk guy comes to our room to tell us he forgot to get a card for incidentals. It was a bit weird to come to the room and unprofessional. Honestly the worst stay I have ever experienced at a hotel. Walked in to check in and both women at the counter were talking on their cell phones. I stood there for a minute while one person wrapped up their personal conversation, and while she was saying goodbye she stuck her hand out without saying a word to me as a gesture to give her my credit card and ID. Then while checking me in, she paused mid-typing to reply to a couple texts before finishing up. I got to my room and it was dark and dingy and smelled bad. The toilet seat was broken and shower bar was broken as well. The place was pretty run-down. The next morning while I was getting ready I had someone knock on my door, I opened it to discover that the maid apparently does not understand what a "do not disturb" door handle sign me

Great value for the price. I was in Minneapolis for the weekend for leisure travel. I wanted some place inexpensive since this trip was planned on short notice. Free parking and free coffee! The staff was nice, not super friendly, but nice which is still a good thing. The hotel itself was clean as well as the room. No issue at all with my stay. I rented a car and drove to most attractions.

Great location for when you have an to attend an event within the University. Also walking distance to a Target, restaurants, and bars. Rooms were nice and spacious. Having a kitchenette with a small stove and a large fridge was really nice to have. The bathroom was big and clean. The toilet didn't flush very well and you had to wait about 5 minutes to be able to flush again. Overall good stay for the price.
