Under Canvas Moab

Before I begin I am not a camper. We checked in a few days into March. It was cold but there is a nice wood-burning stove in each tent. We were told the heat would last about 3 hours, more like 1.5 hours was realistic. The first night was fun, quiet other than the highway traffic but we got used to it. The bed mattress tilted on my side. I adapted. Fire pits were lit outside for warmth and s'mores, the flames were maybe 2-inches high, provided no warmth. Night 2- was a Friday meaning more occupied tents. The couple next to us thought it was okay to talk loudly until after 12:30 AM. I finally got a staff member to quiet them down, but it ruined our experience. Unfortunately daylight savings time began then, so actually our tent neighbors were keeping us up past 1:30 AM. We absolutely loved our stay at Under Canvas Moab. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about making sure every guest had a great experience. The tents were beautifully set up; comfortable beds, thoughtful details, and that perfect balance between rugged adventure and luxury. Waking up to the desert landscape just outside our tent was unforgettable. What really stood out was the atmosphere. It feels peaceful, intentional, and perfectly located for exploring Arches and Canyonlands during the day and enjoying the stars at night. If you’re looking for a unique stay in Moab that combines comfort, scenery, and outstanding service, this is it. We would absolutely come back.

Great trip to Moab/Arches National Park. Under Canvas was great. We had the tent with the shower and toilet. Very comfortable and clean. The location is nice - you can see the sunrise from your tent deck and 5 minutes from Arches and Moab. Staff is great - friendly and knowledgeable. They have firepits, s’mores, coffee, beer and more! Since there is no electric, they give you power packs to charge your phone and anything else that might need a charge. Shower is a pull string situation but it was fine (and clean). The night sky/stars are INCREDIBLE. Really nice glamping set up. Definitely recommend!

Positive: It was super all around! Negative: Headlights from after dark arrivals were very annoying. Their parking area was directly across from our tent. Their headlights shined right at the porch of our tent and the drivers were not quick to turn them off. Very annoying.

Nope! We booked for the weekend and couldn’t make it because of hazardous weather and instead of sympathy and kindness we got “Ok we will cancel you and you will not receive a refund.” Seriously?”, not even half!! We paid $500 to stay two nights in a tent and they couldn’t even do anything! Crazy that a business would run on these kind of archaic policies. Just crazy… definitely not worth your trouble! UPDATE - we had a whole group of friends who stayed there and they froze all night cuz the firewood provided was cheap and didn’t last more than a hour… imagine getting up every hour to feed a fire after paying the hefty fees??
