Tysons Corner Marriott

This is my first time staying at this Marriott location. I’m typically at the Hyatt, but chose this location because others on my trip were staying here. It isn’t “as” convenient for my requirements, but it’s been a pleasant stay so far. First off, the hotels in this area are ell very expensive around $300 - $400 per night. At this price point I want just a bit more than what the hotels are providing to clients. There is a bar of soap and small lotion sampler on the bathroom vanity. All the shampoos and gels are attached to the shower wall. The room was impeccably clean and comfortable. There was a single serve coffee maker and a sizable empty fridge. There was an ironing board and lots of hangers. Plenty of logically placed electrical and charging outlets. There was a safe in the room. I

We were pleasantly surprised by this property. The exterior doesn’t reflect the modern interior. It’s very close to Tyson’s Corner mall. The front desk staff made us feel like family (during check-in and check-out). Several restaurants are nearby (literally across the street). Another surprise was the large window with a city view. The hardwood floors gave the hotel room an elegant feel. My family really enjoyed the stay and will return.

the hotel staff was polite and helpful! everyone was very friendly and accommodating. when we asked for extras like towels or pillow they were brought promptly. the room was VERY clean! the food was very good and replenished! We liked how you had to use key to park. the only issue was we couldn't find a luggage rack at checkout. The american doll package was great! Will definitely be back!

This is NOT legacy Marriott! Entire hotel has 3 suites (which should be advertised)so forget loyalty upgrades. This is a highway motel for millennial clients like an AC. The closet is only 4 feet high by 3 feet so you either wear jeans or cannot stay more than 2 nights. The entire room has only 1 drawer. The M club is about 40 degrees while snow is falling. Not impressed with food because I remember what Marriott was. Just joined Hyatt. Just run. No HBO as advertised! TV doesn't even turn to only seating place. Front desk manager hasn't responded to emails (in several days).

I always loved Marriott compared to other hotels. The rooms just feel more welcoming and well kept. For some reason, I always wake up with my throat closing up when I sleep on the hotel linens. But not at Marriott. This particular hotel at Tysons corner is so conveniently located right next to shopping, it was perfect for my short 2 day stay in Virginia. I was able to get so much done. Staff at the front desk are friendly and very helpful.
