First off the front desk room smells horrible. It’s a food smell but it’s not good. Everytime I walk in the smell has varying levels of strength. I prepaid for the room for a week on Expedia. The night time front desk guy was very docile, but he told me the deposit was $50, charged my card $53 for the room deposit, then told me that the card declined because the deposit was $63. I argued that wasn’t right because there is a sign in the lobby that mentions $50. Long story short we argued about what the sign said and something just didn’t seem right to me. I travel for work doing production and without going into too much detail, we haven’t gotten paid yet for any of them jobs we did for Mardi Gras. So moneys tight. To start, the room is hotter than it is outside and it’s low 80s currently. The sheets, pillow cases and towels were obviously not washed because there was still hair on them along with other spots. Not to mention the room is a smoker room that had cigarette burns in the pillow cases and sheets. The room overall looks gross, hair balls on the floor, stains everywhere. Overall the room looks gross and whoever is in charge of preparing the rooms clearly doesn’t care about basic hygiene and cleanliness. The guy at the front desk was pretty nice though.

One of my disabled family members was treated with blatant antisemitism and was also targeted financially at this hotel. They booked a room through Expedia using our family credit card, paying the full amount online. Upon arrival, the clerk attempted to con him out of an extra $100 and tried to deny him entry in a roundabout way, rather than simply adjusting the dates and requesting the small remaining balance. According to Google, the actual difference should have been only $20, so the clerk was trying to overcharge by $80. This is clearly discrimination based on antisemitism and is completely unacceptable. We are demanding a full refund to our family credit card and will be filling complaints with the ADL and the City of Biloxi, Mississippi, and will pursue a lawsuit if this situation is

For the price, I would’ve given this five stars. Everything I needed worked, there was a larger than usual refrigerator, hairdryer worked, there was an iron and an ironing board, and even a microwave! The only thing that didn’t work was the door interlock (what used to be a door chain in the olden days) was broken (as in it had been snapped off). It was clean, the fact that it was not carpeted helped with that. the location was great: right across the street from Waffle House and you could see the Beaurivage. The only thing keeping me from giving them five stars was the fact that when I extended my stay by one day, they charged me an extra $25 over and above their normal rates.
