We had a great time at Twin Cedars Resort! Our room was fantastic. Bob was very helpful and accommodating! The location was perfect for exploring the UP. The fishing was great!
Twin Cedars Resort well exceeded our expectations when we were there for a trip with family this past week. Bob and Meghan were great hosts, very welcoming and accommodating. Bob even helped fill our van’s tire when we had an issue with it before we left. Cabins were extremely clean and comfortable. Our kids enjoyed fishing, swimming, and looking for frogs/turtles. They had a cookout while we were there and even got an ice cream truck for all the kids (and adults) staying that week! We enjoyed hanging out at the resort, and seeing some of the local sights as well. We will be back next year!
My husband and I stayed at Twin Cedars on a side by side trip. There are miles and miles of incredible trails you can access right from Twin Cedars. The lake and row boat was an added touch of relaxation. We really can’t speak highly enough of how great the resort is! We stayed in one of the motel units which was very clean, comfortable and perfect to come back to after long days exploring the trails. We will definitely be back!
HIGHLY recommend staying here. My family (me, my wife, son 17, daughter 13, and dog) stayed in Cabin #5 during the week of July 4th. It was fantastic! Bob and Megan (the owners) are very friendly, helpful, and fun. They made sure everything was perfect! They invited us for the town's fireworks show on the lake, they hosted a camp wide cookout night, they hung out with us by the firepit at night. They are some of the nicest people, and the other guests (who are annual "regulars" that week) were just as amazing! Cabin #5 was recently updated, the beds were very comfortable, the entire place was clean and well stocked with furnishings, cookware, all the conveniences of home. The boats were easy to use on the lake, Bob gave me a tour one morning showing the great fishing spots and tech
I would definitely recommend a stay here. My wife and I visited last week for our 10 year wedding anniversary and we had a great time. Bob and Meghan are excellent hosts and really make you feel at home. We stayed in the motel room #6 and it was a nice and clean room that was recently updated. Bob has everything you could possibly need for fishing and is very informative about the area and anything you may want to do. We didn'thave much luck fishing on our stay, but the weather wasn't in our favor either. They also surprised us with a cake on our anniversary which we thought was so thoughtful and nice, and tasty too! The location of the resort is a good middle ground for the endless things to see in the upper peninsula. Most attractions are about an hour drive from here which is good. They
