Twanoh State Park Campground

Discovery Pass is required for parking or you can buy the daily ticket at the post. Well maintained state park in the picnic area, restrooms are clean, water faucets are available inside the small shelters. There are electric outlets too, very convenient for picnic and cooking. Beach with clear water, good for swimming in summer, there are shellfishing activities when the season is opened.

Stayed here one night. Booked at the last minute and ended up parking by the bathrooms. The campground is little crowded but was a nice place because we needed to rest.

Christmas day was beautiful here. Always a gorgeous place to visit.

Been to Twanoh three times in the last month with the grandkids and it has been a great experience. Each time was a weekday and the weather was perfect so that helps with the quality of time spent there. Did not camp, just picnicked and enjoyed the beach and the water. I have been going out here for 50 years and it has held up well. And the water color this time of year is gorgeous.

Great place for camping! The campsites are a bit packed in so if you’re looking for privacy this place might not be for you. There is a great 2-mile loop hike in the campground! Facilities are very nice and there is a boat ramp available too!
