The Alder Forest

I recently had a fantastic experience at a campground in Hood Canal, Washington. The stunning natural beauty of the surroundings, combined with well-maintained facilities, made my stay truly enjoyable. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Whether you are hiking trails, water activities, or simply enjoying the serene environment, this campground offered a perfect retreat. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a peaceful and rejuvenating outdoor getaway.

I’ve stayed at LunaSea multiples times. Every time has been as good as the last! Always clean and secure. I love waking up and having coffee on the balcony and walking down to the water (only 20ft from the back door) plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. The host is nice and is good at communicating which I have found difficult with other air bomb type places. Belfair is a cute little town with all you need for a weekend away and is only a ten minute drive if you need to grab anything! Highly recommend this one lace. I’m so excited to hear they are expanding too!

My family and I come out here often with our dogs, it is really an incredible place to stay. Beautiful view, great host, and lots of oysters and clams to eat! Perfect for all year round weekend getaway.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at LunaSea and cannot recommend it enough! Brittani, our host, responsive throughout our entire vacation. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and taken care of. The house itself was a haven of pure fun and comfort. The moment we stepped in, we were blown away by the breathtaking waterfront views of Hood Canal. The scenery was absolutely stunning and left us in awe. The house was spacious and perfect for both single and multi-family stays, accommodating all our needs and more. Absolutely beautiful location, truly in the heart of nature! Family run, extremely helpful, there for you all your needs! I highly recommend this for if you're going solo, couples away trip, full family holiday, something for everyone! It's lovely! 5 stars all over!
