TWA Hotel

D- Stayed at this hotel for several days for work. Although the hotel is really neat it failes for several reasons. Mainly for the room and food. The rooms are super small all your getting is a bed , bathroom and tv. Nothing else. Not even a iron for your clothes. 1 super tiny garbage can in the bathroom. For a quick overnight stay this may meet your needs. BUT be prepared to pay alot of money for little portions of food that's pretty horrible. You're better off calling Uber eats. ( And it will be cheaper) Now to the positive part of the review. The staff is pretty amazing and very helpful. The hotel lobby is really neat and looks like the 60s.

We stayed here the day after Christmas, since we had a mid-morning flight on JetBlue on the 27th. I had booked back in June and was happy I did, since we also got a snow storm overnight the night we stayed. Although we were nervous that our flight would be delayed or canceled, we still enjoyed the TWA Hotel very much. We paid for early check in, but we were told it didn’t matter that we paid… so if you do this too, just be sure to arrive and get on the line by 12pm. We didn’t have any issue getting the room at that time, since we were already there. We loved the hotel and what it had to offer. My eight year old was fascinated by everything, and I was too! We had a room that faced the runways, which was extra exciting, since we got to watch how JFK handles a snow storm. Watching planes take

This hotel was amazing!! We live in Brooklyn and stayed one night with our 6 and 3 year old. We started at the hot rooftop pool (it was snowing and everyone was cozy in the pool) with a little restaurant with food and drinks. They have all these fun little things to explore for the kids. Worth it to get a room with a view of the runway. The room was so clean and up to date. All the food and drinks we had were really good. There is a real airplane outside with a cool little bar inside. Pro tip: call the front desk and ask them to send you a robe. We will come again for sure. Highly recommend!

Strangely getting my flight out of JFK cancelled turned into my favorite part of the vacation because I spent the night at TWA hotel. Incredible dedication to the 1960s. So many cool lounges, bars, historical exhibits, cafe, rooftop hot pool to explore! Very underrated and not at all crowded!
