Tru by Hilton Syracuse-Camillus

This was one of the worst stays that I have had w Hilton. First the room floor had spots all over and rock salt under the heating unit by the window. The front reception area was playing music so loud that I heard it in our room at the end of the hall. It was still playing at 6:30am at that volume level when we finally left. There was a youth sports group in the hotel who were running up and down the halls, slamming doors and yelling til late in the night. I used the Hilton app to communicate about it but nothing was done. So we packed up and were gone by 6:30am! Lastly, I have this hotel booked again in April as a non-refundable and have called twice to have Hilton please override the reservation and cancel it but I was told that they can’t do that. As soon as we got there, we had to wait by the front desk until someone showed up to check us in. The actual room we got had sticky floors and the keys refuse to work constantly, I even stored them separately from my phone. The breakfast is debatable at best, a nightmare at worst. If you're okay with questionable options, go right ahead. The coffee machines were almost always empty at any point in time and the pancake machine had constant hiccups by refusing to work. Not to mention the trash being full constantly too? I don't think I saw an empty bin at any point I stayed there.

awful customer service. My daughter hit a snowstorm on her way home from college and they would not allow her to stay there even with her parents booking because she is under 21. They told her "try and airb&b". when I called they said there is nothing that can be done. My child is 4 hours from home is bad weather and they refused help. Never USE Hilton again.

Positive: Staff is very friendly and helpful. Although the room was pretty clean, there was quite a large, hairy furball on the floor. Yuck. Otherwise, all was great! This was our second stay & I would stay again! Negative: ""

I had checked in earlier the day on my phone app and selected a room on the highest floor room 412, upon arrival I went striaght to my room and realised the digital key was not ready. So I went down to front desk and was told the room was not ready, that was already evening time about 6:30pm. This was disappointing, then I was given room 401 when I said I wanted a quiet room and 412 was furthest from the elevator. I went upstairs only to find out 401 is right next to the elevator. I went back down to front desk to request for a change and got room 234 which was farthest from elevator. I was good with this, went upstairs and got our stuffs out in the room. After a while, we realised the aircon was making a loud sharp noise, it was unbearable to stay the night with this noise, so we recorde
