Nightshade Inn & Gardens

I was very pleasantly surprised when I thought I would be disappointed because most other places were booked up. They are far from and very far above the flat roadside motel cliche. The room was pretty small but we just needed an overnight stay, not ballroom dancing. Room was freshly remodeled and smelled clean and new when we first walked in. Friendly&helpful staff. Far enough away from the road to be quiet and comfortable. Nice bathroom, comfortable beds and good amenities. If I have to stay in that area again I will definitely go back there. I have paid over twice the price for rooms that weren’t as good as this. Nice job!

I went to the state fair for the night and found this place to stay. The owners were very accommodating about checking in past 9PM so we didn’t have to leave in the middle of the fair. The price, convenience and cleanliness was unbeatable compared to other hotels around. I highly recommend this place and if ever in the area again will stay. Thanks for everything!

Room was very clean and recently redone. Perfect for my husband and I as we were in town for the Metallica concert. Fresh paint very clean sheets bathroom had all the amenities and the owners were very friendly. In the morning there was fruit, muffins, coffee, tea, oatmeal, and in the room, they provided us with some fruit and snacks. Full-size refrigerator and small freezer also included. I highly recommend Nightshades!

The room was cozy, spotlessly clean, and full of thoughtful touches, like a bowl of fresh fruit and snacks waiting for me when I arrived. The bed was so comfortable I slept like a baby, and their Wi-Fi was excellent, which made it easy to stay connected and get some work done during my trip.
