Tru by Hilton Greensboro Lake Oconee

When we checked in to room 403 the room was covered with lady bugs and stink bugs. We immediately called the desk to change rooms as we had our 2 year old with us to our surprise the gentleman claim that this is Georgia and you will have it everywhere and it is illegal to kill them. Then find a way to keep it out of your room it is almost midnight and I am up to make sure no bugs go on my baby. Second the shampoo and conditioner bottles were empty we have to wait until tomorrow to get these refill. Bathroom has mold and it looks like a 5 year old did the caulking. Will never stay with this brand again

We used to love how clean this hotel was and have stayed here on numerous occasions. This past time will be the last now. Other peoples hair in the shower, out of amenities in the shower, tv and remote did not work, stink bug on the wall and dead bug in bathroom. I’m not sure what happened but I’m not even sure the room was cleaned. Very gross. Staff is really nice, that’s the only positive.

Positive: Very comfortable beds and great walk-in showers. Add to that a hot, delicious complementary breakfast and great accessibility .. what more could one ask? Negative: Can't think of a thing. Staff is especially nice and helpful.

This hotel left a lot to be desired. The first room we checked into had hair in the shower, silverfish in the bathroom, stink bugs on the desk and bed, and several Asian lady beetles all over, both dead and alive. The front desk tried to say they’re just ladybugs, but there is a difference, and this is a beetle infestation. The next room still had about a dozen beetles. The shower amenities were empty and despite two requests, all we got were towels and none of the shampoo or conditioner refilled. The shower leaks and covered the floor and got our bags wet. The breakfast and snacks are nice, the lobby looks clean, and the staff seemed mostly friendly. Wouldn’t stay here again though.

Very nice rooms, pool table in the lobby, and a huge snack bar. Every fast food option you could want is within like a mile, and alot are right across the road. 10/10
