Tru by Hilton Fort Worth Lake Worth

Overall a great one night stay! The hotel was close to downtown Fort Worth and more importantly clean, quiet, and comfortable. Rooms are basic but all we needed for our stay. There were nice amenities including breakfast, laundry, workout room, pool, small bar, and snack area. Surrounding area was safe. Hotel staff allowed a late checkout so I could continue working from the hotel in the afternoon. Thanks for a great experience!

We are staying at this hotel for work purposes. Today, when I approached the front desk, I was assisted by a Black female employee who showed zero customer service skills. She had an annoyed expression, her laptop on the counter, and a water tumbler as well. She looked at me as if I were bothering her, so I decided to step away and return a few hours later. When I came back to check in, my coworkers were at the bar, and the same employee was still at the front desk, along with a White male employee who appeared to be under the influence. A bald gentleman then approached me and asked if he could assist me. He greeted me with a smile, and I thought to myself that not all customer service at this hotel was poor. I have never experienced such a disheartening stay at a hotel in my life. We have stayed at hotels all over the country and most of which have been with Hilton. This has been a very unwelcoming, unpleasant, and uncomfortable experience for my family. Upon arrival we noticed the warm welcome a family ahead of us received with the front desk concierge. We excitedly approached the concierge only to be met by a very dry welcome. Once we made it to our room after a very long drive, my family tried to rest, sadly having our rest disturbed by neighboring guests making loud banging noises, and loud incessant music being played either within the hotel or directly outside. Good accommodation for a last minute quick night sleep

I usually don't leave reviews but this was the worst experience I have ever had with the front desk and the manager on duty Roberto. My Bookeeper booked a 3 day stay for me at the Tru in Lake worth TX because of the snow storm. I showed up to the hotel to check in just to find out that the date was incorrect. Fine, no big deal, we all make mistakes. I was told to call Expedia to change the date so I did.
