The Worthington Renaissance Fort Worth Hotel

My husband booked this getaway for our wedding anniversary. We received confirmation of our room and were prompted to check-in one day early, which was completed immediately. In our accommodation noted we stated the approximate time of arrival as well when prompted if we were celebrating anything special we notated our anniversary. Upon arrival there was immediate murmuring and eyes looking at each other. It was obvious our room was given away. We expressed that this was for our anniversary. That we took every measure to ensure that we weren’t disappointed. However per there management you booked through a third party so there are no guarantees regarding your booking. When I expressed that I checked in via the Marriott Bonvoy app. They expressed to me that they didn’t see anything however

Positive: It was nice and the staff seems very friendly. It was very clean and ideally located in the middle of Fort Worth. It is within walking distance or a block of a lots of great restaurants and bars . Including a BBQ, Tex-Mex, Negative: Noise from the HVAC system.

Not a fan of the front desk service here, but I’ve had worse. Not the friendliest or most knowledgeable on the planet. The explanation of benefits and available amenities, parking and dinning options could be improved on a bit more prior to guest checkin. I had to arrive after midnight due to flight and commute and was exhausted. The front desk guy was the worst, but the valet driver was more than happy to help me find self-parking and explained how it worked. Definitely do your homework prior to arrival as this hotel has some construction happening in the parking garage wing that is obviously causing some confusion with hotel staff. Overall though the hotel stay was decent and no one bothered me… like at all… the entire stay.

We used the Worthington Renaissance as the hotel block for our wedding in Fort Worth and it couldn't have been more perfect! From the moment my mom and I received a tour from Abraham, we knew it was where we wanted to host guests for the weekend. The lobby is the best mix of class and Western vibes - you still get a "cowboy" Texas aesthetic but not in a tacky way whatsoever. The rooms are clean and spacious and the lobby bar and coffee shop are great. It's also such a central location to anything in the Fort Worth area and is well worth the price. I worked with Jole and her team during the booking process and she was helpful anytime I needed an update on guest bookings and beyond. I am the type to have a lot of detailed questions, and my inquiries were answered thoroughly and professional

Overall, a really solid stay in a great downtown location. The lobby and common areas feel upscale, and the hotel has that classic, historic character that makes it stand out. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were professional and helpful. The room was comfortable and quiet enough for a good night’s sleep, and everything looked generally clean and well maintained. That said, a few details felt a bit dated, and I had some minor issues with room amenities not being as updated as I expected for the price.
